Register Your Chapter
Register your Chapter in the 'ASG Event Manager' software. This is a web-based program that helps you organize your pick-up events, your users (donors and drivers) and many other activities that go along with running an event.
Registration is easy. Follow this link and click "Chapter Application" to get started. When you navigate to this registration site you will notice a [?Help] tool in the menu, click that for more information about each page on that site for more information.
Once you have registered, the Site Admin will receive a notification and help you complete your profile.
As you start out you may not need 'non profit' status. But at some point you may wish to register as a 501(c) (3). In the meantime, you can still collect money from donations by asking people to log onto our national site; www.asimplegesture2.org. They can then donate to that national site or select your chapter for the funds to come to you. Click here button for more information about this topic.
